Whitters joins Port of Vancouver as Administrative Assistant
VANCOUVER, Wash. – Chrissy Whitters has joined the Port of Vancouver USA as administrative assistant.
Whitters, who comes to the port from Vancouver’s HDJ Design Group where she was an administrative assistant supporting the accounting department, will play a key role in the port’s re-development of its administrative services department, and will provide support to all departments on various projects.
“We are fortunate to have found Chrissy in our search,” said Michelle Allan, the port’s executive assistant. “She’s already made a big impact and a good impression here at the port. We’re looking forward to a bright future with Chrissy.”
Whitters comes to Vancouver from Alaska, where she attended the University of Alaska and worked as an office manager and project coordinator for an excavation company before moving to Vancouver, where she now lives with her husband Jamey and their three children, Caycie (17), Kylie (12) and Clay (11).
Between her kids’ activities – including volleyball, soccer, football, and wrestling, Whitters also finds time for Jazzercise and spending time with friends.
